Important pricing considerations
- Any load volume in between these landmark points will be charged accordingly.
- Every job (not including bulk item removal) has a flat rate fee of $89 on top of the removal fee to cover dump charges at local landfills.
- Construction debris: Nail-embedded wood, drywall, paneling, etc., will incur an additional charge of $99-$199 due to added weight.
- Branch brush removal: Branches, leaves, small-thin trees, and small logs may have a lesser overall charge due to lower dump fees (company discretion).
- Concrete, stone, brick: We can handle this, charging per cubic yard of our trailer ($150-$250), filling typically up to 50% of capacity.
- Dirt, soil, mulch: We can remove these materials, charging per cubic yard of our trailer (local market prices apply), filling typically 50-75% of capacity.
- Hazardous Materials: Items that are deemed to be hazardous materials or are marked with Hazmat labels are subject to waste disposal and or recycling fees and will have additional fees associated with their removal and disposal or recycling. Examples of these include, Tires, paint, Chemicals, Fiberglass Insulation, tar, Oil and pesticides.
LIGHT DEMOLITION/PROJECT PRICING
For larger projects requiring more than just hauling, Bertram's Junk Removal offers light demolition services. Pricing for these jobs can vary widely, so we take great care in providing accurate estimates based on the following formula:
- Load space: The volume your demolished items will occupy in our truck/trailer.
- Time: Includes 1 hour of labor in the space price, with additional charges for extra time.
- Labor & equipment: Costs associated with the team and necessary tools for the job.
- Additional charges: Applied for long travel distances, extra heavy materials, or projects requiring significant additional time.
Here are some typical light demolition projects and their average pricing:
| SERVICE | AVERAGE COST |
|---|---|
| Shed removal | From $399 and up |
| Hot tub removal | $350 - $600 on average |
| Fence removal | From $299 and up |
| Pool removal (light) | From $299 and up |
| Deck removal | From $399 and up |
| Trampoline removal | From $199 and up |

*Pricing ranges in light demolition on a very large spectrum. We take our time when pricing these jobs as it is easy to lose money not accounting for time, labor, and load space. We always account for hidden costs such as tools, Sawzall blades, rented equipment, or additional workers that may be needed. Please note, construction debris (nail-embedded wood, drywall, paneling etc.) will have an additional charge assessed for the added weight.
